THURMAN FRANCIS ARTS ACADEMY THANK YOU FOR ACCEPTING THE R.U.M.A.D CHALLENGE!

Our goal for the R.U.M.A.D. Challenge is to raise $50,000 through a partnership with individuals, schools (like THURMAN FRANCIS ARTS ACADEMY), and businesses all around the world. This 'global challenge' will allow the students at Heritage Christian College to dream big, reach beyond their limitations, and to fulfill their hopes and dreams for a new Africa, full of hope and excellence.

DON'T FORGET WHAT OUR CHALLENGE IS ACCOMPLISHING! We are raising funds for a special scholarship (FOOD FOR THOUGHT) that will be used to provide ONE MEAL each day, during the two weeks of finals, for ALL the students at Heritage Christian College in Accra, Ghana.

How does the challenge work? We designed the challenge to be easy to explain and quick to accomplish.

Step 1: A team leader commits to complete the challenge and fills out the R.U.M.A.D. Challenge form given to you at school. If you need more forms, contact Mrs. Fair and she will have extra forms available.

Step 2: The team leader names their team and invites 10 friends and associates to be on the team.

Step 3: Each team member is responsible for collecting and donating (at least) $10 and turning in their donation to their team leader. HCCF-USA will accept cash, checks (made out to HCCF-USA) and credit card donations.

Step 4: The team leader completes the challenge form and then turns in the funds collected to: Mrs. Sherri Fair at Thurman Francis Arts Academy

Step 5: Once funds are turned in, Thurman Francis Arts Academy will contact Doug Fair, Director of Development for HCCF-USA at: doug.fair@hccf-usa.org and we will send details for you and your team to join our CELEBRATION EVENT that we will schedule before your spring semester is completed.

CELEBRATION EVENT DETAILS:

We will schedule a video conference call with some of the students and faculty at Heritage Christian College in Accra, Ghana. This will be an exciting time where you all get to hang out (virtually) with the students in Ghana and get to know them and ask them questions about what school looks like for them in Africa. What do they do for fun, do they listen to music-what kind of music? Ask them what they are studying and what their goals are once they graduate. Just hang out and get to know them as individuals and let them get to know all about you and your time at
